The Winfield Vikings secured a dominant 44-0 road win against the Buhler Crusaders, showcasing a well-rounded team performance marked by statistical balance, defensive pressure, and efficient scoring. The shutout reflects Winfield’s ability to execute consistently across all areas of the game.

Game Analysis

Winfield’s offensive output was fueled by a distributed effort that saw contributions from every player in multiple categories. Emma Coley led the team in scoring with 22 touchdowns, converting consistently in the red zone despite posting modest totals in rushing, passing, and receiving. Her role was indicative of Winfield’s emphasis on efficiency inside scoring territory.

Sarah Coley delivered one of the most complete individual performances of the game, rushing for 223 yards and adding 4 receptions and a passing completion. Her impact was equally felt on defense, where she tallied 243 interception yards, 232 tackles, and 52 sacks—by far the most dominant defensive stat line of the night.

Rey Leon contributed across all categories with seven tallies each, reflecting a high level of activity on both sides of the ball. His uniform production underscored Winfield’s depth and flexibility in utilizing personnel.

Mitchell Wright, Kevin George, and Andrew Gill each provided increasing levels of production, with Wright finishing with four touchdowns and corresponding totals in every other category. Mason Coley contributed a single stat in each tracked area, helping to round out the overall team output.

Defensive Summary

Each player recorded at least one tackle, sack, and interception, reflecting a coordinated and aggressive defensive strategy.
